First time DIYer, did some minor mods

Well, the coupe isn't even 2 weeks old yet and already i did a few minor mods... they're nothing too exciting but I am a first time DIYer so I was proud of myself

First, I did the Z aluminum pedals (don't have a pic of that but you've all seen them before) and the clear corners

Couple of days later, I did my lighting install. I installed MTEC bulbs in the fog light/high beams and PIAA's in the clearance

Also at the same time I installed the StrictlyZ brake fluid cover

For a little engine compartment dress up (and reportedly a 5 million rwhp gain) i installed a NISMO oil cap (it's a knock-off, got it on eBay for like $6.50)

And finally, i was going to wait for the meet to do my Z-tube & Popcharger install, but i got a little antsy and installed the Z-tube tonight... gives a nice little growl from the engine bay under acceleration and installed in a matter of minutes

Finally, a shot of the finished engine bay (at least until this weekend when the JWT PopCharger goes in)

Thanks to the entire forum for helping me decide on these items and for providing the information that let me install them painlessly. I can't wait till I do more to the car... looks like i got a bad case of the mod bug

be careful of that imitation nismo oil cap. some have said something about metal chips falling off of it and possible falling into the oil...which would be really bad. you might want to do a search on that one.

other than that. good job. looks nice.

i have a question about the lighting....it looks as if there are amber corners with PIAAs in there.. did you post the wrong pic by accident? cause i thought the PIAA's and MTEC's were brighter than that.

Re: First time DIYer, did some minor mods

the picture does infact show my clearcorners... they still have the amber bulbs that came with them installed. the PIAA bulbs right now are only in the clearance strip.

and i figured as much about the imitation cap... i will monitor it closely over the next few days and make sure it's ok.

PS i got bored today and also installed my Popcharger... will post pics tomorrow.... the thing makes it sound like a whole new car
