Will the HID bulbs D2S work at all on the stock 04 coupes?...i know the D2R will work in the projectors...just wanted to know if the D2S will work at all in the 04s...?...got sum off ebay..and it says from 03 to 07...but i noticed they are the D2S bulbs not the D2R...

 

I beleive D2S means shielded. Good question though.

 

I bought the phillips ultinon bulbs for my 03 coupe. I just got them only to find they're D2S bulbs instead of D2R. From what i've searched, they say that the notches on the plug part is what's different. Some ppl have managed to fit D2R bulbs on he 06. I'm hoping you can manage to fit a D2S in an 03-04.

 

Yes, you can dremel out a notch on the other side to make it fit.

Or if it's D2C, it should have notches on both side to fit in D2S and D2R sockets.
