During the last few weeks, when my car is at a stop/idling, I notice this weird noise. I am not sure where the noise is coming from (i think its from the engine) but when I step on the clutch the noise goes away. And when I let go of the clutch I could hear it again. It kinda sounds like rattling noise but not that loud.

Does anyone know where that noise is coming from. Thanks

 

You mean that noise that comes on every like 10 secs when in neutral? Think it's coming from the exhaust.

 

If it goes away when you step on the clutch then it is coming from your flywheel/clutch. It is normal and very common on the G. Just search clutch chatter and you'll find out more info.

 

very common thing with G's, i have it too. it gets louder if you have a non oem flywheel.
