So I sent out my envelope w/ check and overlay request on tuesday. I live in jersey and bluebats all the way out in cali. Anybody know how long it usually takes for him to get them to u, just curious, and impatient lol

again im not asking about his ability to reply, as I have already been successfully in contact with him. What I am asking of those who have received overlays from bat is how long it took from the time u mailed him a check to the time the overlays wur in your hands, that's all lol

I never paid via check. I used paypal so payment was sent immediately and I had them ready for install in a day. Granted I was in SoCal at the time but I am sure he would have mailed them that day or day after receiving payment. Your type of payment method takes a lot more time. I am sure he would wait to make sure your check cleared prior to sending out any product. I know that's what I would do. Be patient. He is a stand up guy and respected member of this community. Also keep in mind that this isn't all he does. He has a very demanding full time job and provides overlays on the side. Hope that helps!

Why did you pay with a cheque? Did you send a personal cheque? If so that's hella dumb. You should buy a money order, that's the only safe way to send money in the mail.

You're looking at 5 business days for you cheque to get to bat, 2 or 3 business days for the cheque to clear, then 5 days for your package to get back to you.

Start "bugging" out after 12 business days

You could keep an eye on your checking account. Once you see your check post, you know he has 1. received the money and 2. knows the check is good. Based on other user feedback he will ship the item the day the check clears or one day after. You should have your package in 4-5 business days from then.
