so let me get this straight. you went to the exhaust shop and told them you wanted to remove your factory muffler and weld on a flowmaster one? why the drastic change in tone/volume? is the flowmaster higher flowing? and is there any way you can call the shop up or look at your car to figure out what series muffler they welded on?

yea I have the same thing. I just copied the Magnaflow version. why pay 500 when I could just copy it and get the same results.
but now I'm looking for a new exahust or maybe even gonna copy another exhaust. lol

y pipe will increase exhaust sound on heavy throttle and top end speed will feel smoother and faster.

I did a custom 2.5 mid pipe with muffler. I then added the hr ypipe and loved the sound. sounded like oem but way more powerfull. Then I started to get droan going at 60-70 mph in 6th gear, especially going up hill. Then added a resonator and now droan is gone, but so is the sound.

So now I'm not sure if I want a new exhaust or HFC
