Baby got hurt

Driving home last night a dog ran out in front of me, I swerved to miss it and hit the curb and landed on top of this mini island.

Damage is below

Hopefully fixable

Needs a repaint

This is what caused me the most headach, tranny fluid all over the place, fortunately I removed it today and it looks like I just need a replacement cooler.

I think I came out pretty lucky as this crub was pretty damn high and the Kuruma bumper is real low to the ground.

Doesnt look too bad considering everything. The rim and bumper look repairable. Good luck!

I clicked expecting a the Block to have a hole in it or something.and to be at least something to do with FI. But I was mistaken.

True just got to make sure there is enough room behind the bumper as it is a tight squeeze, I don't even know what size I had in there already....going through receipts right now.

I am FI as many people here know, I posted because it could have been worse and ruined a lot more than just the pics show, it could have smashed the FMIC, or any of the piping that sits right behind the cooler.

The cooler was pushed right into the intercooler piping but thankfully only scratched it up. The two black hoses are where the cooler used to be.

Sorry to hear about this, Paul. Good thing you weren't hurt and the damage wasn't worse. Best of luck with the repairs.

just for future reference unless it's your pooch...a dog is softer than a curb?

I would go back and find the dog. Then see if one can figure out where it lives, the owners should be liable for the damage.

LESSON LEARNED: Next time just run the dog over.

When it comes to animals, I don't swerve for anything less than the size of a bull.
