Since when does elite tune anything? They are a fine shop for installs.

Elite does not do tunes, great place for service though. If OP wants somewhere closer, check out Hills Garage in Baltimore. Great work, great prices, friendly guy...it's where I go now for most of my stuff since he's so close to me.

To OP, the places you can get tuned are JE Import Performance on Pulaski Highway, although I don't know how experienced they are with VQ35DE stuff. People seem to like Function Tuned in NoVa. You can also checked out Altered Atmosphere in Gaithersburg but I've had bad experiences with them as far as honesty...but other people seem to like them a lot. Hit or miss I guess.

Also, you don't need a tune with those mods. I mean you can do it, but it'd largely be a waste of money until you get more bolt-ons.

It depends on what you wish to tune with......if you chose uprev you are limited to Function. They are the only ones with licensing in the area (I believe). Lots of places tune utecs, but frankly I wouldn't go that route. Too many issues with hot start and poor transitions (driveability).

AAM-I didn't want to bring them up because it is likely any thread containing negative opinions of them will get deleted or closed. While I admit of late they have been seemingly on the up and up, but that can't make up for the years and years of poor service and dishonesty. Personally, I wouldn't let them touch my car, but that's just my .02.

Mods you can delete my aam part if you wish, but I hope that you won't. Just keep this thread open for the OP.

you gotta check out the NGC!

Hit up the g35driver groups and join in - it's a sort of local group...
