Ok so the car is 5 years old only has 55K its an auto. Can someone enlighten me as to how I can have motor mount failure and on an unmodified car at that. (Not even a performance air filter). And to add insult to injury the cost for replacing the part not even labor is 229 dollars. Anyone else have this issue? I am a bit POed about this and think it should be part of the powertrain coverage. Now if I had modified the engine or anything for that matter I would calmly eat my just dessert.

Anyone have suggestions for the matter I am starting to consider a 100K extended warranty I figure a couple more investments like this and it would probably pay for itself.

Forgot to add that it is BOTH mounts one is about halfway seperated (driver side) and the other is completely sheared.

 

I would call the ghostbusters. We can get uback on track.

 

If you let me drive your car for a few thousand...broken engine parts would make sense
