Hi folks, I am having a rattle on my G from the dash - I know it's from the damn titanium plastic being torqued because it happens every time I go over a bump or make a quick turn. Anyone else have this? Does the dealer ever do anything about stuff like this? I love this car but every time I hear it, I cringe!

Thanks in advance.

Re: Rattles
Take it in and tell them about it. They should be able to isolate the noise and insulate the offending part. Good luck..

Re: Rattles
Mani...search for previous posts on rattles...everyone seems to have eventually figured out where the rattles are really coming from instead of where you think they're coming from...I myself had three different ones...and thought two were coming from the dash...came to find out that none of them were from the dash.

Re: Rattles
the biggest mistake I made was thinking the noise was coming from the dash. It was the plastic/metal sheath that covers the wires going from the rear view mirror to the roof of the car. touch that a little and it will make the noise.

Re: Rattles
The main one in mine was my gate opener up in my sunglasses compartment. Then the adjustment of the passenger seatbelt...and the rear passenger speaker grill was a tad loose.

Re: Rattles
The thing is, it really does sound like the plastic, and the direction seems to be coming from the area around my NAV screen. So the dealer will fix it despite falling under the category of "rattles and sqeaks" (not covered underwarranty)?
