So, I take my car into a recommended place to get the windows tinted. When it was done I overlooked the whole car. As usual the tint has to cure. I did notice a mark on the outside drivers window seal (rubber part) above the door handle. It looked like some sticky substance that would come off in a wash. But I washed it yesterday and the freakin seal is like melted and permanently damaged. The mark is about 1 inch long and very noticable since the car is only 2 weeks old. Should I go back and bitch and demand a new seal? I have to go back anyways, there is debris under the back quarter window. It just pisses me off to see this when the car is so new.

Thanks, any thoughts? I can post pics of the mark if needed.

they tore mine also, will cost $400 (i think) to replace...

they referred me to a upholsterer that melted it together.
looks like $hit...

The seal I am refering to is the rubber strip on the outside of the car, right above the door handle on the driver side. So, I have to see it everytime I get in my car. Really makes me mad. I am going to go in this weekend hopefully.

 

yeah go in and tell them you will take the car to Infiniti to get fixed and send them the bill... dont let them try and repair it
