what offset is too much??
im order a set of 20s this week for my 04 coupe the wheel size is 20x8.5 up front with a offset of +20 and the rear is 20x10 with a offset of +20. Is this a good and clean set up will i scrub any places? Im not lowered. Whats the best size tire to go with? i was thinking 245/35/20 up front and a 285/30/20 in the rear. How will this turn out?? any info thanks

what you are considering is acutally quite conservative; even more so since you stated that you're not lowered... first things first, lower your G first...
moving on, you won't have any issues with the wheels in the sizes you are thinking about getting; and as for tire sizes, I'd go with 275/35 in the rear(that setup isn't close to being aggressive enough to consider going scretched)....
all that being said, there's plenty of threads similar to yours that provide a lot more insight that what I just put forth.. plenty of search, research, and looking at other people setups will help you make a more sound decision...

i love how my g rides factory i dont wanna lower it and it ride like crap i know puttin big wheels with low profile tires will make it ride different but i live in a place where the roads are good not too many potholes and not a bad winter time and i was thinking the 275/35 would be better i love how the wide tires in the back make the stance of the car a whole lot different and stand out more

you should really take juaquin's advice, he's right
but if you dont
with offsets, you know you can always MEASURE for yourself and then use an offset calculator, its not just being helpless and asking for help, there is something you can do
as for your tires, thats pretty much the most wheel protection you can get, those tires will be fine
