toe is adjustable to beyond what you need up front. the camber/caster is not adjustable up front hence why you need the upper arms to get further camber adjustment. there is camber and toe adjustment up front. toe you shouldnt have any problem with, and you can get new eccentric bolts/camber arms to get further camber adjustment in the rear. im at -2.2 up front and -2.9 in rear on tanabe springs and my rear tire wear is more than normal...duh...but im aware of how it should be. my front wear is doing great other than the light cupping. but i did the alignment on my car and its set to what i want it to be.......its bound to happen when you're lowered.

The G will always have feathering/cupping (uneven wear), until Corporate does something about it. Which they won't because this isn't a safety issue.

Camber won't fix this. My car is STOCK and it's already showing signs of uneven wear at 9k miles.

+1 This is quite true. Uneven and premature tire wear go hand in hand with G35 Coupe ownership. You can stand on your head, but it will always be there to a certain degree. Upgrade to a G37 and most of this problem is lessened substantially.

the options you have are.............

FRONT: adjustable upper control arms -- adjusts camber
REAR: eccentric bolt kits or lower camber arms -- adjusts camber

toe is already adjustable front and rear.

when setting toe, have the person doing the alignment set the front total toe to .18-.20 and set the rear total toe to factory spec.

I manage a shop that deals with this all the time -- You both are right. Now about tires. Brand of tires and tread design have a impact on chopping some worse then others example- Bridgstone G019 will chop and cup on every car you put them on. The new Eagle gt will sound like a truck tire going down the road. So have a good alignment done and choose the right tire. Ones that are not prone to cupping and chopping. Have your alignment cked every 6 months to a year. If any one would like some tire advice or have questions hit me up.

^^ so what tire is less likely to chop? dose the factory parts allow for the .18-.20 toe adjustment?

That all depends on how much camber you have.

Right now Iam running the kuhmo ku31 spt so far getting even tread wear. The Bridgestone re960a/s is a good choise as well. The Mich piolet sport a/s is also a good choice. I picked the kumho based on my store deals with alot of Porsche drivers with the staggered fitment like the G cars. They have had great results with the kuhmo tire. Ones to stay away from Hankook,Rikon Raptor,Firehawk GT,Eagle GT, all known for chop issue and this is due to tread design, BFG sport a/s. That is just a few. Like i say if anyone needs help with tires let me know be more the happy to give a hand.

Iam running stock height right now the camber was out 2+ on left side right side was in spec. I have have up graded to the Ichiba control arms front and rear and have the car in spec. Right now I only have 3k on the tires- wear is even so far. Having several customers with G cars I have seen what works. RE960as are really good tire. Kumho asx's are the ku31 that I'm running. Still trying to get rid of some blizzak's that the car came with.
