Fethered, Chopped, Whatever its called its happening AHHHHH
Ok so here is the problem my tires keep feather/chopped!! I have owned the car for a year now and this is my second set of tires. I originally had sprint spings with a 2" drop all the way around with stock shocks. I thought it was my shocks due to the aggressive so I bough Tokico Dspecs. My camber has always been hella off but would a camber kit help stop the chopping/feathering???

Why is it that people still don't get that it's NOT camber that is causing feathering, rather it's the TOE that is the main culprit.
For the front there is not much you can do. I'm at -4.7 degrees up front and my toe is in spec, of course I have feather since my tire is not fully on the ground, but the fronts you don't need to worry about.
As for the rear, just get some toe bolts from Eibach/SPC, get them installed and they'll hold you good for up to about -3.5 degrees of camber.
Spend the $50 on toe bolts rather than the $200-300 on rear camber arms, save yourself some money, get a life time alignment from Firestone for roughly $150 and you're set.
IF the problem persists, THEN get a rear camber kit. You will have some inner wear with camber, but realize that having some negative camber does help you out, especially when cornering. Again, your toe being off is the main concern and since you can't adjust factory toe too much you need toe bolts.
Just for reference purposes I have -7.5 degrees of camber in the rear. Yes I get feather because this time only 3/4 of the wheel is on the ground, but my wear is not all that bad, but that's all because I have a toe arm to keep my toe in spec.

^correct, feathering is caused by toe but uneven wear in the inside can be attributed to (-) camber. I didn't mention that the feathering is caused by camber, the OP is not certain of what he has.
Good point made that if you do get a camber kit, it is worthwhile to get the one with a toe bolt.

Yes..there is currently a bolt there, but it's not long enough. It's a direct replacement. I'd sell mine, but I'm holding onto them in case I need them for the future, but do get the lifetime alignment because it will save you money. I would do it but I have a guy I go to and since I have extreme negative camber, I dont wanna take it to Firestone. If it was regular I would. Go there about 3 times and it pays for itself. I'd get an alignment done every 3 to 6 months just for the heck of it since it's not costing anything
