Why your G35c color???

Hi all. I started this thread not as a "this color is better then that color" but more like, why did you choose the color you did when you gotten you G? Or for some people, what color are you going to get when it comes to the 2005? You could explain in more details why you like the color that you do.
As for me, I'm getting a 2005 6MT, but still thinking of what color to get it in. At first, I really wanted black. It just looks nice and hardcore. But white also looks nice, just looks clean and nice on a G. There comes red also. I just like how the G looks in red from the back. It looks classy and sporty. Red won't be my first choice, but I won't mind getting it if I couldn't get black nor white.
My car color right now is silver, and I'm just getting tired of that color after 5+ years. It's a nice color don't get me wrong, but I think it's time for a change.
Holla back ya, your inputs would really help me on deciding on what color to go with.

Re: Why your G35c color???

I originally wanted a CB coupe. However, they seemed to be quite rare in the combo I wanted, which is a loaded 5AT w/o spoilers. Also, I drive to one of my customer's site on a regular basis and I kind of thought a CB coupe would be too flashy. My wife liked DG and I thought it looked very nice and pretty low key. The dealer had one coming with the combo I wanted so I decided to go for the DG coupe. I still like CB a lot but no regrets getting the DG. The G pretty much look good in any color.

Re: Why your G35c color???

well im getting an 05 model and cant decide on a color either. to me i think it kinda helps if u kno if u want the spoiler or not, but heres mi opinions.

IP-my very first choice, my car right now is white and its very easy to keep clean n it looks great, very classy
DG- this is my second choice. very nice and looks aggressive, sorta common color for G.
OB-looks tite but black cars r dangerous at night, my friend backed up into my other friends gf's car and it was black, my dad almost did the same on a mustang. so get it if u dont mind getting hit or put a bumper sticker on saying dont hit me plz.
BS-very nice and clean too but too common.
CB-seems girly in my opinion and its also hard to find
TB-my sister has a blue car like this so i dont want the same color
LR-o ya it looks fast so cops will be all over you. i really do like it but u need a good radar detector.

so for me im stuck on colors. its either DG or IP. i keep changing my mind, leaning more towards one and then leaning more towards the other. very tough decision. go to the dealer n take a hard look at each color. try to pick 2 colors like i did or at least 3 and try to decide.

Maui Blue: (or Maliblue, Caribbean Blue, Smurf Blue, Crystal Blue......)

Bichromatic paint, very very rare on stock cars. The car is blue-teal, but at low viewing angles it appears to have a blue-purple hue. Very cool!

Skyline = Blue, that's just been imprinted in my head. I've always known I'd buy a Skyline if they bring it to the US. Infiniti just happened to copy the Germans and call the car by letters and numbers.

G35C = Sporty car. Sporty cars deserve sporty colors. Black is too hard to keep clean, red is reserved for my Ferrari, so Blue is the logical choice. Besides, it's so damn beautiful.

Rare - yes, very.

Run down of alternative choices:
1) Silver = Too common, plain silver.
2) Beige = Looks great under the sun, but beige in shade and at night. Too old.
3) Black = Hard to keep clean, hard to see at night. Wish they made a metallic black.
4) White = Looks big, but beautiful still. My second favorite color.
5) Red = Red is exclusively reserved for my future Ferrari.
6) Twilight = Looks great, but my last car was dark blue. Need a change.
7) Graphite = Infiniti/Nissan graphite is not all that great.... looks too dull, not dark enough, not flaky enough. My friend calls it 'asphalt grey' I love the Toyota IS300 graphite though

Black. The contrast between the dark color and the sharp LED tailights is mesmerizing...

Obsidian black (true black not metallic) on graphite is the meanest looking color you can get. Hard as hell to keep clean and swirl free. It's worth it though.

Re: Why your G35c color???

I went with IP for my Sedan 2 years back cause that's the only color they had with all the options I wanted. Going into it I wanted silver and silver only but in the end I'm glad I got IP. Now for my Coupe I got DG. I was pissed ever since that color came out after I had gotten my sedan. Damn infiniti!

Re: Why your G35c color???

Really wanted the twilight blue once I saw it but the dealer wouldn't come off the price any and there was a 6 month wait for that color at the time. I found my car at a great deal and couldn't pass it up. For the $4K I saved, I can live with the black. That would have been my first choice anyway if TWB wasn't available.

I went with "give me a ticket" red. I made my 12 year old daughter a deal for doing well in school; I picked the car she picked the colour

BLACK!!!!! There is nothing like freshly detailed black car!!! Patience is a must and I wouldn't recommend black for a daily driver! But damn, there is nothing like looking deeply into clean black paint!!!
I like the IP too, but after about a year or so, the black lines from the factory clear bra by the wheels looks crappy. That must be a pain to maintain.
I also agree that the Lexus IS 300 Graphite would look awesome on the G!!!

Re: Why your G35c color???

I actually went with Brilliant Silver, not as common as the DG and I think that the lighter colors show off the body lines much better.
