What wires, adaptors, harnesses are necessary for a double din setup? (for a pioneer avh 4100 going in a 03 sedan with navigation)

I just did this swap, except I used a Clarion CZ109 single DIN head unit. But I used the following:



Together they came to about $28 shipped from amazon. I also bought the PAC adapter to use my steering wheel controls, but my installer said it is very complicated to install and would charge an extra $80 for it, so I was okay without having it. So far everything has been great and manually changing tracks/volume on the headunit has been great. Best of luck to you

For the steering controls, an installer told me that they sort of have to reverse-engineer the commands coming off the data bus or something like that.

Lol, steering wheel controls install is simple. Get a PAC unit for your headunit brand and then go to their website to download vehicle specific instructions. It took me less than 10 minutes to install and program.

For the G35, its 2 wires from the car stereo harness, ground, power. Simple.
