They say it fixed once again. The dealership said it was a loose ground causing high resistance in the starter circuit . Will keep you posted once again.

It is finally fixed . The problem was when i intially got the starter fixed the mechanic put in a rebuilt starter was not rebuilt very good to say the least . . They agreed to put in a New manufacturer starter (no additional charge) and it worked like new .

The Starter was installed by a recommended mechanic . The bulk of the trouble was from them . The Dealership helped me find the problem. But no I didnt get my money back for the sensors .

Sorry to hear about al the ridiculous issues you had to go through. My '05 G35 is showing the same symptoms. My initial guess was to replace the starter, possibly rebuild it. but after reading you log maybe i will just grab a brand new one from Infiniti and possibly save myself a ton of headaches that you had to go through.

Thank you for the post and updates.

BTW. Is your G35 stick or auto?

wow the mechanic ripped you off good the alternator doesn't follow a starter in breaking down they aren't related and you should have been asking for your money back right away when it didn't fix the problems the first time
