looking for g35
hi, im from florida and im new here, i got about 9 months till i get my car, im 15. im chosing in between the 350z or g35, i have about $5k right now, my dad and i agreed on going on half and half when i get my car, meaning he'll pay half and i got the other half, and since im throwing money down $ im getting it for sure when im 16, i have about 8 gopeds and i gotta sell like a couple of them to get 2-3 more grand, i have spent alot of time and money on them so im sure i can get money back from them, so with that being said im pretty determined to get the g35, and if i do not have enough money, then the 350z, im mostly interested in the 03-06's g35 coupe, i have been looking on craigslist and seen the majority of them priced near 15k, this is one im using as a reference.

i also saw on an auction site a couple g35's going for about 10k if not less. with clean titles.
so, what im asking is before buying one is any tips? im bringing a mechanic with me, my friends dad works for the miami dade police department, and he works on there vehicles, so i would plan on asking him, or if not many of my dads patients are mechanics so we can ask as a favor. ive heard that many people roll back the miles on them, like on the dash board, so they lie about how many miles are on it, is there any way to find out if the car im looking at doesnt have that done to it? the most miles that can be on the car are about 70k, i dont really want one with too many. so any tips? tank you
