I just bought my 07 G35 coupe 6MT 2 months ago. I changed the oil to synthetic, and it was fine the first 1-2 thousand miles. But after checking the dipstick recently (3000 mi), there's barely anything on the stick! Could the synthetic oil be too slippery for the dipstick? Or do I have a possible oil consumption problem? I'm still under warranty..

 

that doesnt sound right, I would go get it checked.
