She only stalled one time too. I was amazed! I mean its not the easiest manual to drive and she did really well. My first manual was a 1984 porsche 944 and let me tell ya, it was like driving a tank. Heaviest clutches on those cars...

So far thats 1 stall on her record of driving my G :P.

Anyone else have wives or girlfriends learning stick on their G's?

haha, about two weeks ago I let my fiance drive my 6mt coupe around the block. She also stalled just once when she got to the intersection. I definitely wouldn't let her "learn" to drive stick on my g (clutches aren't cheap!) but I felt confident in her enough to let her take it around the block. My first manual was an 01 accord. Thats what I taught her with so she knew the "basics" before she got in my g. She still has a bit more to learn before I would give her the keys tho

oh man. I wouldn't let just anyone drive my G. Curbing wheels is a serious offense in my book . Maybe thats why you aren't with her anymore... haha.

pics or it wasnt true...... lol

i think its good to teach ur wife to drive the MT G, never know when u might need someone to drive it somewhere or something... no better than to have ur wife to do so.

My girl will NEVER drive my G.... She can only sit in the driver's seat when the keys aren't in the ignition...

Yep I my girl drove my coupe around a short neighborhood a few times and then up the road once she got the hang of it...

She did okay... lol she wanted to move it the other day when I needed to so my roommate could get out she failed miserably. Reverse needs some work!

I was afraid when she moved the seat up it wasnt going to go up far enough lol

you guys arent telling us what you made the girl do for you in exchange for driving the G. I mean, if my gf ever wants a crack at it, she had better offer something awesome in return....

lol to all of yall.. I let my boyfriend drive my G whenever he wants... he is just not allowed to use the paddle shifters, straight automatic. But I get him back because of my tinkerbell front plate and my TKR BL plate in the back.

haha, you guys are crazy. I hope all the girls dont think I was being sexist!! I know plenty of women who can drive a straight, but my wife isnt one... :P

You are absolutely right though about having her know how to drive it. Thats the whole reason why I am having her try, just in case....
