After seeing the lip pics previously posted on the bodykits/exterior/lighting forum, I had to have one for my Coupe. In doing my research, I spoke to Mike from Unlimitedtuning which was more then helpful in answering all the questions I had in regards to the spoiler.

In contrast to popular belief, the spoiler that Unlimitedtuning made is not just a modified M3 lip spoiler. It's a newly concept and fabricated lip spoiler that contours to the trunk of the G35 coupe. No custom fitting or cutting needed. The pictures previously posted really does not do it justice.

The Unlimitedtuning lip is made out of polyurethane. The first thing I noticed when I received the spoiler was the weight and quality of the material... no flexing or uneven curves. Installation was as simple as can be with 3M double sided tape... no drilling or nails required.

After receiving and installing the lip from Unlimitedtuning, I'm more then glad that I purchased a lip spoiler that was actually designed for the G35 coupe, and not the ebay M3 style lip that I originally had intended. If you take a good look at the pictures below, you can notice it looks nothing like the M3 style spoiler. This includes the curve around the end of the trunk is now flushed. The curves around each end is also completely different.

I love this lip. I actually saw one in person last week at the meet on "UnlimitedTuning's" car. This is (imo) by the best looking lip for the coupe. I'm actually in the process of getting one too.

Does the spoiler come pre-painted and ready to install direct from Unlimitedtuning?

The spoilers come unpainted but primered, the finish is rather glossy. In Japan, some people dont even paint them to get the 2 tone effect, its more of a personal preference. Installation is rather simple with NO DRILLING required.

This is one sweet spoiler. I sent them an email to get some more info. I wonder how much it will cost to get it painted, especially with the IP color, since it's pretty hard to match to the factory paint.

the spoiler looks sweet. i was so set on the impul spoiler but now i'm not sure anymore. but if the spoiler install does not require drilling, does it just attach with adhesive tape like 3m or something? how secure is the install then? also, a wide side shot of the entire car with the spoiler would be nice : )
