Clutch Pedal Position Question

I just picked up a 06 MT with 33,000 miles on it. The clutch release seems kinda high to me. It feels like i am driving a mustang. I am used to the clutch engaging midway on Mitsubishi Eclipse and Toyota Supra TT. Not so far up. Is this normal for the G35 or do I need adjustments?

Very normal,

read around there is a DIY somewhere about how to adjust the engagement point to a lower position, and I should find it cause I'm going to do it this winter. But yea, it's high...like Method Man high...it made my "what do you HATE about your G" post

I put in a clutch stop and it felt more natural being where it is.

I just did mine yesterday and it made a world of difference. Like night and day, cant believe i waited so long to do it. Helped smooth out my shifting, I have an exedy stage 2 setup and its pretty rough, def helped.
