Double Din A/C Issue

I just got a DNX9140 installed in my car a couple weeks ago. I purchased the double din kit from Riverside Infiniti. I have started noticing that the A/C doesn't seem to be functioning correctly. The only time I get any kind of air coming out of the vent is if I am driving and I have it set to fresh air. I assume this is because the movement of the car is pushing fresh air in (because if I stop I get nothing). The air is coming out at the correct temp (hot if the cabin is cold and cool if the cabin is hot) but it will not physically blow out of the vents. For example, let's say it is 40 degrees outside early in the morning. If I get in my car and the temp is set to 78 the display will show the fan is blowing at full speed, but nothing is coming out. My commute to work currently is 45 minutes or so and even when I arrive to work I get no air blowing out. I have tried turning it off and then back on, but no luck.

It has not been an issue too much yet, because it hasn't gotten to cold yet and that is probably why I haven't noticed until now (almost 2 weeks later). I am afraid the dealer will blame it on the A/C controller (even though it is a nissan part) so I was hoping to get some insight on what could possibly have gone wrong. I don't know if it would help to know this, but before my double din install my stock unit worked perfectly when it came to cold air (as in it worked immediately, never had a problem all summer) but when it came to heat it would have a similar problem to what I have now except it would begin to work about 15-20 minutes into my commute if I turned the unit off and back on.

I am going to take my car back to the installer to just make sure they didn't miss reconnecting something. But, if it's not that, what do you guys think it could be? Do you think I got a faulty controller? Do you think it is something else and that I should take it to the dealer (my car is an 07 so it is still under warranty)?

Any ideas/suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

By the way, I love the DNX9140 so far, it has worked flawlessly and boots up very quickly in my opinion, but I've never had a unit like this before so I can't really compare it to anything. The bluetooth works great too, not one person I have talked to through it has mentioned anything about having trouble hearing me or any kind of echoing.

Isn't there a temperature control sensor in the panel below the steering column, next to the stereo area? Maybe that came disconnected during the install.

I'll check that after work, but I was under the assumption that if that was disconnected then the air temp coming out of the vents (when the car is in motion and set to fresh air in this case) would not coincide with the temp settings on the thermostat, which is not the case for me. In other words, if I turn the temp down on my thermostat the air temp I feel coming out of the vents adjusts as well. I'll definitely check on that though.

Whatever happened with this? I had my double din installed in my 06 sedan 6MT and at 60 it blows cold and 61 it blows smokin hot. Same temp from 61-90. Just flat out hot...

I ended up taking it to the dealer and found out the relay for the blower motor assembly was bad. The dealer replaced it under warranty and I haven't had a problem with it since.

Sure enough I found the right thread on this. Turns out the in-cabin temp sensor under the steering column wasn't plugged back in after my remote start install. 2 minute fix! And I've been dealing with this for months! LOL

Im having the same problem. Maybe someone can help. First the AC/Heater/Radio problem was the issue where the lights turn off and it automatically sets it to auto. I replaced the radio and that fixed the problem but prior to this the heat wouldnt work and I would shut the car off and turn it back on a few times and the heat would start working. It still works after I shut the car off and turn it back on the heat will work fine. I took the blower motor out and it all looks perfectly fine. Asked a mechanic to listen to the blower motor and he said the blower motor the sounds fine. I NEED THIS FIXED ASAP DUE TO IT BEING 0-10 DEGREES OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. Could it be the relay? Do you know the part # and where its located?

intermittent sounds like a relay to me. Might find someone with a relay you can test with to see if it works.
