My new ride - needs alignment:)
Finally took a few snaps of my G, not that the world needed more pics of another stock DG coupe, but this completes a 3 year obsession for me. Put on new tires (Falken 452s). The old ones (frnt & rear) were so worn on the inside (and the front cupped there too). I know these cars have neg camber settings stock, but I'm really hoping to get them aligned more straight up (toe adjustment too). Anyways, as posted previously, its an 05 AT, w/Nav & Sirus, 48k, paid 16000 from private owner.

Beautiful ride dude. Yeah, make sure you get that alignment done. I didn't get my alignment done in time and started hearing loud road noise and vibration. Turns out my front right tire was cupped. I was effin pissed!!! $612 will be the total for two new Toyo Proxes T1R tires. Sharkroy, did you experience the road noise when you had the cupped tires on?

Yes, actually this was the first issue the seller told me about, road noise from the front tires. The first place I drive it (haven't even driven it away from my house yet will be the alignment shop.
I grew up in ABQ in the 70s/80s. My folks still live outside town in Estancia. BTW, your pics/response to my earlier post are what made up my mind for chrome, Thanx! I really love the look.

I'm happy with the Falkens (have them on my other car), close second choice were the Hankook V12s, also about the same price a set (850). I just came back from SEMA and did a lot of talking/comparing on tires, and again the Falkens were an extremely popular choice on a whole lot of cars there. Have seen good deals on Ebay through Discount Tires Direct on both these brands (as well as the Nitto 555s, my other top choice).
Also, did a WHOLE lot of research on here (long post debates) as well as lots of info gathering at SEMA and went with the 275/35 on the rear. The crowd here is split on a 275 on the 8.5 rear wheel, however they fit great, are very close to stock height, and pose no issues at all. IMO the very best size for the OEM is 235/40 & 255/40 (that would give just a tiny bit more sidewall over stock, which these wheels could really use) however almost Nobody makes a 235/40/19.

Well, great choice on the chrome. They are beautiful aren't they? I'm currently attending UNM here in ABQ. Lived here for the past 15 years. Got a question for you bud, when you had the Falkens put on, did you experience any road noise/vibrations at all?? I'm just so sick of this cupping problem.

I definitely heard noise with the old tires (Verdessen?) on the drive home from buying it. However, I picked these new tires up with my truck, so I haven't driven the car any farther than my driveway on the Falkens yet. Actually I'm really jones'n to drive my G, but I'm waiting to sell my 06 Civic SI to switch the plates & insurance over to the G.
