bought new rims?
bought new rims?
Currently I have 18" oem installed on my 2004 coupe. I bought 19" oems and I was wondering do I need to swap the tpms sensor in my 18" to the new 19"? The oem 19" have the tpms on them right now so will they be plug and play? Or will I need to go dealer to reset. Cause I dont wanna pay money to remove tires from 18" to get the sensors out.
you're going to have to fork out money if you want to use any sensors.. the dealer will have to program your new tpms on the 19s for them to work and they will charge or you pay to swap them. I'd opt for swapping them and you can sell the other sensors.
tpms are read by the tire spinning differences - sensor speed in rotation - but who cares?

does anyone know how much it costs to reset them? Can I do it in any tire shop? It costs about $10 to remove tires from all 4 wheels then I have to pay again to have them put back on. How much you guys pay at dealer or discount tire?
yo yo yo, what to do on a friday xcpt to help out a fellow g35driver,
alright, since you ask, if your car is still under warranty, then take it to infiniti dealer say hey my tpms is wacked even tho the pressure aren't,
they will fix 4 free,
if no warranty left - then you're not going to get it done 4 cheap anywhere...
