I went to the local grocery store for 5 minutes tonight to come out to see a whole bunch of scratches on my bumper. Looks like someone skid/pulled into it and bend the license plate a little bit. The bumper is not cracked or bent or anything like that, just scratched up. I am so mad because the cops said there is nothing they can do and that I was better off just getting it repaired on my own. I thought I would just vent here tonight because I am LIVID. I will post pics tomorrow and get some opinions on how to get repaired.

 

Damn that sucks man. I know how you feel, my car got keyed a few weeks back. But good luck with repairs.

THat sucks but don't feel so bad.
2 days after I got my car, I had a hit and run, I still haven't had a chance to repaint the rear bumper yet, thank God on angles you can't see it very well.

 

if it's not too deep u can always buff it out yourself.

 

Is it a top coat scratch or is it into the paint? If it's top coat only either you or a pro can buff it out.

 

Its liked someone pulled into it. So its not like one scratch...its multiple scratches and a pretty large spot where its just like scraped. I'll take pics asap and get opinions from fellow members

 

I got egged one night, you can imagine how pissed I was. Couldn't sleep :-(

 

My rear bumper got hit in my driveway and put a fat dent in the left side and cracked all the paint around it.. I know how you feel

 

i hate people...no respect for other people's stuff. The kids of this world are even worse. They just destroy anything and don't care.

 

Can't blame you for venting, I'd be pissed too. People nowdays have zero respect for themselves or other peoples property....look who they elected as our president! I voted for "None of the above!"

Heck, I'm still pissed some ricer stole my stock corner and ripped out my socket/destroyed the wiring at the same time.

My car was barely 2 weeks old at the time. Damn ricers. I'm guessing it was a ricer who f'd up their wiring harness, so they decided to take mine.

no, it was probably some stupid teenager on drugs and thought it was funny. honest truth. it's more believable than someone who has the money to buy a g35 stealing 1 cheap corner lens.

No, it was a planned attack on my car. Who ever did it got a scissor to cut out the socket. It was a clean cut...

They have money? LOL. yeah, you really think they would shell out 1500 for a new wiring harness?

Take a look at the pic. They didn't just take the lens, they took the damn socket and 8" of wires with it.
