Hey Everyone,
I received a letter from infiniti regarding the 2004-2007 G35 coupes radiator fan motor, stating that they have extended the warranty on the fan motor to 96 months or 100,000 due to the fact the motor might possibly become inoperable.
Wanted to know how common this problem was and has anyone had this happen to them?
Did any damages occur to the engine because of it? thewave:

i received this also... i wonder if people who went aftermarket could get some kind of reimbursement if they had 'proof' their original radiator and or fan failed outside of the original warrenty

 

I got one too... just put it in the folder for car stuff

guess I'll pull it out if anything ever goes wrong

I got the letter this past week.

 

A couple of our members have had this failure. The fan is supposed to kick in when radiator fluid reaches over 210 degrees. If you live anywhere but CA. or Flordia you may not notice this failure until next summer due to cooler weather conditions....but you're covered if it occurs. My notice is in the glove box along with my extended warranty....

WTH!! I never got this letter for my 06 coupe.

 

i got it for my 06 coupe and about a week later at my appointment to have my 45k mile service i gave it to the guy taking care of me and he said he hadnt seen this letter yet and made a copy of it so they would have it.

 

I got the letter about 2 weeks ago. Put it up in my filing cabinet under the G35 folder.

Yea, I got it too, at 123000 miles...

 

I have not got it yet...someone needs to upload a PDF of said letter so we can download it.
