I just noticed the dealership put in 10-30w? I only ever used this back east during the winter months? Ideas on why they would do this?

Going to bring this up to them when I go in for the replacement rear view mirror.

Most places use 10W-30 if you don't say anything. I would recommend switching to Mobil 5W-30 with M-110 filter.

 

10W30 is better in warm climate, like yours.
