Just got home from the NHRA Stylefest held here in St. Louis.
Trophies in hand. 1st place Quaker State Dyno Challenge. 2nd place all asian Sony Stylefest. 1st place V6 bracket racing.
You should have heard the announcer when he said "Up next in the v6 cat is a what? Infiniti G35? Then after I took the bracket class, He said" Well I guess there will be a line at the showrooms on Monday."

Next up style mods to take first place for more shows. List includes Greddy front, Veilside rear and sides. With some Volk 19's. Oh and lets not forget Greddy TT.

Injen exhaust is deep and awesome, The guy Paul in-charge of the Quaker State Dyno challenge said it was the best sounding car of the latest shows he has been to let alone the best looking car they pulled up on the rack.
Injen is loud under 2000 rpm but I did let a friend run it down the track once at the show to here the car in a 1/4 mile from the outside. I was blown away at how the exhaust, Z-tube, Cams and K&N sounded.
I has taken me some time to perfect the takeoff. And now I have it down. Do not go through the bleech, Go short in one, not deep to redline, get to third as quickly as you can in manual mode.

Picture above has R-tec filter but change to K&N inverted for the races and show. I am going to change to Nismo CAI or Stillen airbox for next races to see how they run.

 

Do you power break at all? If so, what rpms you launch at? What are optimal rpms to shift @? Please give explicit details!!!! My 5at needs to haul *** like yours.
