need help asap...

i recently messed up my exhaust while reversing and the passenger side exhaust has shifted in quite a bit. the entire sound of the car is completely off and sounds muffled. i took the car to the dealer to get it checked and didnt tell them what happened i just explained to them it sounds kinda off, they checked it and said nothing is wrong there is no leaks or holes, but beside the sound problem ive notice recently i have been burning gas a lot quicker.... can anyone be assistance in telling me what can be wrong and how can i get the dealer to fix this problem for me?

also the car is about to touch 35,000 miles can anyone provide me with a list of things i should change and service?

There's always the option of going to a muffler shop, you never want to go to the stealership for anything other than warranty work. If your exhaust doesn't sound "Right" a qualified muffler shop can find issues the dealership knows nothing about.

Maybe you bent one of the pipes when it got pushed forward, and your exhaust flow is restricted. The dealership should have been able to see that though if they threw it up on a lift, unless it kinked upward so that the kink was not easily visible from underneath.

if u can see your exhaust has shifted.. and the dealer didnt... i wouldnt go bak there.

And +1 on everything Gary said. A qualified muffler shop should be able to diagnose and fix your problem.
