Help! Intake breather tube broke off! (Edit: Throttle Cleaning Idle Issue Afterwards)

Hello. I was taking off my intake today to clean the throttle body and snapped the breather tube on the intake. Do you guys know if it's a problem driving without the hose attached to that tube?? I need to find a replacement asap... if anyone is in LA. Thanks!

Ok, now that I've calmed down... here's what I'm doing. I bought Gorilla glue and is currently in process of reattaching the tube. I drove my car for a bit without the hose connected and the Service Engine Light kicked on, and idling is rough. Hopefully as soon as I reattach this it'll solve my problems.

Literally man, follow the tube down to where it attaches on the block, take it off and put the new hose on

In the case the glue isn't working, I'm trying to picture exactly what you mean. Do you mean to take off the original breather hose, reattach with the 3/8 one from O Reiley's, and just stick it through the open hole on my intake?

Ok thanks. In the case the glue method fails, I will try that. Thanks.

Glue didn't work. It broke off as soon as I plugged in the hose. I bought a 3/8'' hose, plugged it into the bigger hose and ran the line into my intake. However, I am still getting idling issues at the moment. Do you think I just need to let the ECU relearn?

Honestly I don't know, but it can't hurt.
Make sure the hose is on properly, and that the clamp is holding

if you fixed the problem and attached the hose you need to reset the ECU to get rid of the light and to have car running right.

I personally would just buy a new intake. you never know what could get sucked into the hole cause it is not getting filtered. someone is bound to have one close to you. or you could go to a junk yard and get one for cheap.

I had to cut the hose a little to make it fit through the intake hole. I did do a ECU reset and the engine light is gone. I'm driving around right now and it seems like the idle is slowly getting better. The only thing on my mind right now is that with a 3/8th hose, isn't it getting less air through? I hope that's not a problem down the line.

At the moment it is being filtered because there is a hose connected to the intake again. I know I should buy a new intake down the line.

On a side note, my neighbor decided it was a good idea to turn on the car with the intake off. The car kept stuttering and shutting off until I told him to stop. I hope that didn't do any damage to my car.

Just giving an update in case people have this issue in the future...

I'm still having issues with the idling. However, I believe it has nothing to do with the breather tube on the intake. I think after cleaning my Throttle Body, it must have went out of calibration. I have tried doing the idle air learning, but I'm having trouble executing it. Currently I have disconnected the negative on my battery and I will replug it in about 1-2 hours. I'm hoping this will restart. I'm continuing to have idle problems and the Service Engine Light is kicking on. I am assuming it is the P0507 code. (Haven't had a chance to get it officially checked).

I will update once I replug my battery. Based on my research, the other method is to take it to the dealer and have them do a Consult Reset.
