I'm not sure, but we got the same letter for our FX35. So I'm guessing it's a widespread problem across several vehicles (FX and G share same powertrain).

If it's just the part that's under warranty, does anyone know what labor might run and how long they'd need the car. Might need the GF to scoop me and take me to work. lol
Warranty work covers both parts and labor. I'd ask your dealer if they have a courtesy car available. I haven't really looked at how the fans are mounted, but if it's like most new cars, I suspect it's at least a two-hour job.

A fan going bad will only destroy an engine if the vehicle's operator is a complete and total moron. There will be several warning signs of impending trouble before the engine gets damaged.

That water temperature gauge in the instrument panel isn't there just because Infiniti felt like throwing away $10 worth of profit per vehicle, or because it just looks cool.

Thank you for posting this. Taking my car in for the air bag TSB on Monday. My car has been burning quite a bit of radiator fluid lately. I already told them that I need them to check out and possibly replace the fans, they told me no problem. Let's see what kind of loaner I get. I'll report back what kind of service I get.

I got my car back today after dropping it off yesterday morning for the radiator fan issue. I got pretty good service and they also serviced the air bag thing as well. Got a G37 sedan loaner. The inside is nice and all, but I missed driving my coupe. Turns more heads. Lol

Thank you guys for posting this. It helped so much when I took my car in to the Lokey Infiniti dealership in Clearwater, FL. They fixed the issue under warranty with no problems.
