Re: WHERE TO START?!

Here is the thread with many pic of white coupe with custom rims. I think white coupe with gun metal or gold LE 37 gonna be nice. Go for it!!

I don't feel comfortable about the idea of custom exhaust, cuz I don't think they spent enough time on reseach and testing their product....but that's your car, just do whatever you want to do.

Once you get your exhaust done, it's time to get better air intake to get more gain by getting more air into the engine. JWT, Injen, and NISMO are few popular brand out there. And I am using GruppeM intake, which many people think it is overpriced. But I love it and it is the best intake out there IMO.

Enjoy your new ride.

Re: WHERE TO START?!

If my parents gave me $25,000 to put a downpayment on a car when I was 18, I could probably afford it too.

Re: WHERE TO START?!

Hiromi,

I don't think people are "hating" on you. We are just hoping that you are not taking your G35 for granted (not taking it lightly) and that you appreciate it to it's fullest. For many of us, it took years of hard work (and schooling) to get to the point where we could afford to purchase a G35... and the fact is, many of us are almost twice your age and have kids of our own....! We hope that you are as addicted to your G as we are to ours....

There's no hate here.... we are all part of the G35 Family, and we all have at least one thing in common - LOVE for our G's... just enjoy this awesome resource (G35Driver) and hopefully you'll be able to join us at the local meets.

Take care,

Mark

Re: WHERE TO START?!

Bravo gentlemen. Bravo.

Why is it that whenever we find out how young someone is, there is this 'you don't appreciate what you have,' 'buy a honda civic and invest the money,' etc., bull puckey?

Just because someone is young and drives a nice car doesn't mean they don't appreciate what they have, that their irresponsible with their money, or that they're spoiled. Who the heck cares how they got the car (besides stealing it)? In terms of taking something for granted, there will always be someone less/more fortunate than you. While you and I may take being able to go out and blow a couple hundred on a nice fancy dinner, there are many who go to bed hungry. Aren't we glad that they don't come on this board and tell us we shouldn't take owning/modding the G for granted?

In this situation, we have a person who owns a G asking for suggestions on modding her car. Can we just give her the advice she's looking for or just pass over this thread if you don't have anything concrete/constructive to add? IMO, she's acted more mature than many of you, which arguably isn't saying much. I think my point will be proven with the subsequent posts (*zipping up flame suit*) .

Re: WHERE TO START?!

I agree.

G35chick:

You don't have to say anything to those fools. If you have been here long enough, you will realize that these guys are either teens themselves or guys with below-par educations who like to complain about those teens with cars. Half of them can't even spell ridiculous. Everytime someone feels the need to complain about someone with a nice car they should also post where they went to school if they went at all. I bet only a small percentage will be able to impress us.

Re: WHERE TO START?!

I'm 18 also and I'm in the same boat you are. My parents also put the down payment on my car and I'm making the monthly payments. They are a little bit more than yours but oh well I love my G to death. My parents got my G for my b-day, graduation (now attending VT - Go Hokies!!), christms, etc. so I'm not getting anything else for a while. I too am looking for what mods I should do to my car. The only thing I have so far is OEM replacement K&N air filter. Good choice on the car...and no I wouldnt get a civic.

Re: WHERE TO START?!

Wait a sec. I really wasn't going to say anymore until you called me out. YOU are telling ME to get a better job? I was actually just making fun of the way you talk. You really don't know what situation I'm in at all. In fact I make a good amount of money and have a great job - how I'm able to afford the G at 24 years old by myself after college. Maybe thats why people will make fun of you - because you come on here saying you're 18 and you want the best for your car. I got news for you. Thats what we ALL WANT. Thats why we're on this board. How about you do a search on here and read up before you start saying "Like I'm 18 and my Dad made my down payment"

Nobody will respect you if you're insulting them so if you expect some real answers just ask nicely and I'm sure you'll get one...... Or just post a nude pic of yourself. That'll help too. Haha. J/k. Have fun with the G.

Re: WHERE TO START?!

when did she tell you to get a better job??

Point is that she didn't make this thread, so you guys can pick on her, so lay off the fact that her parents have the money and love her enough to put the down payment for her.

Do you guys realize that most of your own parents don't have the money to buy you guys nice cars, not because thats not how they want to raise you.

Shes also a minority and her parents probably came a long way from where they are now. I'm also asian and i know that most asian parents are that way. They want the best for their kids. Asian ppl don't raise their kids up the same as your parents. My parents came from sleeping in a car in 15 years ago, to makin over 6 figures a year. Its their money, let them do waht they want with it and stop b*tching already.
