ebrake adjustment

new to the forum and new to g35s so forgive me if this is a covered topic or in the wrong place. My brake don't hold until all the way up not 6 clicks like the manual said. any way to adjust this? is there an ebrake shoes? or just the calipers holding it? any help would be appreciated.

Take off your rear wheels first. There is a little, round rubber cover/plug that hides the adjustment lever. It's slightly higher than the circle your lug nuts would make. Carefully take off this cover/plug and insert a small flat head screwdriver in the hole and click down on the lever. This tightens the shoes for the emergency brake that are behind the rotor.

In this video fast forward to 5:45 for a visual demonstration.

Hope this helps.

I believe so, can anyone else confirm this?

It will be simple to check. Just pull off one of your back wheels and look for the rubber piece.

Thanks. My ebrake seemed to be little loose too. Would get to work on it immediately.

is the adjustment on one side only or do you have to take both wheels off?

those guys did insane brake job. I don't do 90% of the stuff they did when I do my brakes. Lot's of that stuff was not really necessary

by the way.

When you do tighten the ebrake make sure that it's not too tight. You don't wanna be constantly riding on ebrake. Make sure your wheel spins freely.

Gotta admit though it's an awesome DIY, especially for someone who knows nothing about brakes.
