id recommend tien springs. seem to be the standard. im just getting ready to mod. getting too used to the speed and need to do something about that.

dont want to steal a thread, but on lowering, what is your guys advise? in the garage i park at for work has 2 bumps, i need to take it slow already or i scrape with just me in the car if i dont drive really slow. if i even have 1 person in car with me, ill scrape every time.

besides looks wise, does dropping it add that much to corner performace? is the difference much more then if i just added sways?

Geez. It's usually a rare moment to have girls in a car forum. Guys are usually all over a cute girl, yet two people slam them here. Oh well at least GG35 and Dave seem to be trying. hehe. =)

 

I got the same car, IP/6mt you should first lower the car with Tein S springs and then pick up some sway bars. We are having a gathering in Chino Hills 8/24/04 @ 7pm. We should have about 20 cars which you can actually see these mod's and make your own judgement on. We should two other G owners which are girls also if you would like to meet them and see what they have done. The guy that I get all my stuff from will also be there and he can hook you up.

The difference in rim size probably has something to do with it. I've seen Omar's ride and on his 18s and even with the Eibachs it really doesn't look that low at all.

I'm also thinking about the Teins though because I want to keep my ride fairly close to stock, I just want the stance to be a hair more agressive. I am still researching the whole camber adjustment thing though.

I picked up my car on the 13th, so I don't have much, but I'd recommend:

1) tints (keep car cooler, and help save interior.. go HUPER!)
2) clearbra (would you want your baby to be all chipped up? especially on a white car?)
3) All-season mats (Actually this probably isn't needed that much over in Cali)

That's my priority list. Everything else comes later.

well judging by my ride which is on eibachs and 18"s, the car rests right above the tire and as roneski said it is not that low. You can ask ruben or tinman who have seen my rides in person. They didnt even notive until I pointed it out and compared to their G's. Judging by my ride and my drop, i dont feel the teins provide a sufficient drop.

Anyways, I feel like a girl driving my G cuz its 5AT. This girl has a 6mt and i have a 5AT. It should be vice versa!

In the wheels and tires section, there are some threads with many pic of coupes with custom rims. I think white coupe with gun metal or gold LE 37 gonna be nice. Go for it!!

I don't feel comfortable about the idea of custom exhaust, cuz I don't think they spent enough time on reseach and testing their product....but that's your car, just do whatever you want to do.

Once you get your exhaust done, it's time to get better air intake to get more gain by getting more air into the engine. JWT, Injen, and NISMO are few popular brand out there. And I am using GruppeM intake, which many people think it is overpriced. But I love it and it is the best intake out there IMO.
