this is my friend on eibachs. thats a little too low to drive around with imo. teh camber was so bad, he needed to get a camber kit asap. the ride also became shitty, so stay away from eibachs...



i can get the tein s techs for 132 shipped, so dont pay more for it.

 

Yea that is a draw back oft he eibachs. My camber is so damn bad, i need a kit as well asap. It looks like my tires are going to cave in or something. You guys with the teins experience similar camber issues?

Anyone heard anything good or bad about H&R springs. H&Rs have been a favorite of BMW owners. However, they are a bit pricey in comparison to the Eibachs and Teins. Also, anyone have any feedback on the ride with Espelir springs? The new Tokico gas shocks are also a good idea if you plan to drop your ride. I'm not sure if Tokico is planning to offer a shock and spring kit in the near future. From what I've read on this forum, it doesn't appear that the stock shocks/struts can handle any sort of drop for a long period of time.

 

Get a better looking tongue ring. JK. Get yourself a nice polish to dress up the ride. Crystal Guard is a sponsor and they provide a pretty good polymer. Zaino is also a favorite for some owners. Moreshine (www.moreshine.com) has some pretty nice stuff for your windows. You can get a set of clear corners for a cleaner look. They have tons of them selling on Ebay. Wheels/Rims from Volk, Racing Hart, Velox, etc.. Body kits from Impul, INGS, Gialla, etc... Car audio stuff from JL Audio, Zapco, MB Quart, etc... Car mods can be an addicting hobby. My advice is not too overdue it unless you're getting some sort of sponsorship or married rich. Here are a few sites to get some ideas from: www.hopupracing.com, www.i-m-racing.com, www.bulletproofautomotive.com. Do your research and keep up with this forum. i have a friend who has an is300 with eibach springs and tokico shocks his ride feels a little bouncy...is that how it would feel on a g?

 

I've heard from a lot of members here that the Eibachs are just too low. Your car will really be slammed and hard to get up any type of inclines without scraping. I don't personally have them but i'm sure others can give their experience. I have a driveway thats kind of steep and already scraping, i can't even imagine with Eibachs.

The point of lowering your car is to give it a more distinct look than it had before. Lowering your car like .5 is too subtle and unnoticeable. I admit eibachs are low, but not as low as you think they are. I dont scrape that much either. Thats just the cost of having that look: just be a little bit more careful when you drive!
