Oil on spark plug?
Oil on spark plug?
I changed the plugs on my 2003 G35 AT coupe with 92k mi for the first time. I replaced them with NGK Iridiums, and the plug closest to the passenger seat had a good amount of oil on it. It had enough to get oil onto the spark plug socket that I used to remove the spark plug. The other plugs were not like this. Is this a bad sign?
Under the same section you will find "Check this before your powertrain warranty is up!" sticky. This is what you need to read.

Is there anything in our cars that doesn't have any issues. God Damn. Haven't seen 1 car have so much issues.
Even the 03 non-revup are now showing up with oil consumption.. (cousin works at Infiniti as a tech..). This problem is more widespread than Infiniti is willing to admit.
Tires have uneven wear and there is no fix for this. Don't give me the our car is fastest car in the world excuse. If the tires wear out evenly, then okay, but feathering and cupping is not normal wear and tear.

My friend with an 05 had terrible tire roar in his OEM tires and then replaced them (without aligning) and had the same thing happen. I told him to have an alignment done but he didn't and now he is right back where he started.
Yes I got it aligned recently. I also have a lifetime alignment deal at Firestone, so I will be getting it aligned every 5k mi when I get my oil changed. I got 30k out of my last set of tires. Hope to get the same or more out of these

OEM front A-arms have no camber and caster adjustment; toe is adjustable. On rears, camber and toe adjustable and caster not necessary back there.
Optimum specs depends what you're setting up for. Factory specs have a large min/max spread.
I would have a little toe-in on fronts like 0.02-0.04 each side (total toe L/R = 0.04-0.08). Otherwise you'll feel the road grooves catching and having to correct steering a lot if set at 0.
Just make sure alignment shop sets you 'equal as possible' on right/left side settings. Many cookie cutter alignment shops don't unless you tell them to.

Most alignment places are pretty freaking terrible. A lot of the techs will use machines that they don't fully understand and you'll drive away with a crappy alignment. It's worth asking around (or using the internet) to find out which shop a lot of enthusiasts use for alignment.
