2nd gear sounds rough at low speeds in 6 speed mt
at 2500rpm 20mph my second gear sounds rough but if I accelerate it goes away only in 2nd no other gear. any ideas? it sounds like a truck if i change the trany fluid will it grinding sound go away? any help would be great..

Rebuild tranny or if under warranty it'll be replaced.
Second though reading more your descip....could be input or output shaft bearings. How to fix that still the same what I mentioned.
Grinding while trying to shift gears would be the syncros....my bad.

yes it shifts fine just sounds grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr then goes away as speed increases. but if I keep it that speed i would hear it all the time. thanks for the help.
