Babied my 5 Speed 3.0 Maxima while I had her..it then came down to G37, G35, 3.8 Genesis Coupe or 3.5 Altima coupe...I dont regret my decision at all. 2005 G35 Pearl on cream, never seen winter with 105k clicks.

 

I was in between the Gen and the G as well but I looked at the 2.0T version which, for whatever reason, did not like to come in stick in black or white.
One of my buddy's from another unit has a white 3.8Gen and I've driven it a few times. Hate the clutch, hate the doors, hate the counsel, hate the red leather (personal opinion).
When I drove the G, I immediately fell in love. Handled better, feels the roads. He always gives me **** for it being like 8 years older but I'd make the same decision again and again.

Thanks for the welcome! I must agree the Gen Coupes clutch sucks..i test drove one and it was not too responsive..glad i got the G..now on the hunt for a z tube and hi-flow drop in.

 

Welcome to the G community! These are great cars. Bought my 08 brand new and still love the drive. Love it more after driving in my wife JX. I hate that JX. Any other plans for your G after those mods or that's it?

 

Ya for now im just gonna free up some air flow in the block..i love the stock exhaust sound so im very skeptical about that, time will tell.
