whats the difference? how do i know which one is mine? ive seen people post theres is 2004.5.

took me only 1 min to do a quick search for you buddy!

open your driver door, there should be a label there that tells you the date the vehicle was made

 

i acutally taught it ment like it an 04 with like 05 oem parts?? lol ha ha ha ooopp guess not lol

 

so i take it 2004.5 had aero package cause not once did it mention in that thread 2004.5

 

aero package can be added on by dealer, owner, or factory. so if you bought your car used then it will be hard to tell which option it came with

There are two versions of the service manual, depending on the VINs: the 2004 coupe has a version for VINs below 800001; the 2004.5 coupe version is for VINs greater than or equal to 800001. This info came from the Infiniti website where I ordered the manuals. I initially bought the service manuals for my expected 2004 coupe. When I actually received the car, it turned out to be a 2004.5 so I had to buy the second set. So far, the differences I found were in the electrical sections-different settings and wire routings. No significant mechanical differences.

 

I'm pretty sure the auto shift **** is diff.

I have an 04 and the **** button is on the side. On the 04.5, I think it's in front of the ****.

Some 04's also have the **** on the front.

I know this from test-driving a bunch before buying.

4.5 got a new transmission. But I am not sure it has rev match like 05 or not.
