Confused and worried

It's come time for me to get my car. At the moment, I could get a 04 coupe for $35810. I was interested in the new blue for the 05, and so I talked to a dealer. The dealer told me, that the builds for the 04, have been over for a while, and so 04s are slowly depleting in number.

He then told me, that the 05 build dates, aren't until early October possibly November, so we won't see the 05s until February. I am not sure whether this is true or not, as I have seen many of you members already saying that you have put the order in and will arrive in October.

I want the G. I want it so bad, I don't know what to do. Should I go for the 04? Or should I wait till the 05 comes out? All in all, I know it's the same car, except maybe later on, the new colors will be one of the subtle differences. And I don't know whether it is a good choice to get it now, and regret later, or just get it now and be happy what I should do. I'm not really....how to say....certain about the 05 status and new additions. So, would anyone like to advise me or guide me in the right direction? Thanks.

Re: Confused and worried

this is not true, maybe. automatic coupe 05s should be here in october, manual coupe 05s, well in theory they are supposed to be here in december, but there is some talk (from dealers) that the date for the manuals is slipping (possibly to feb).

Re: Confused and worried

I was in your exact situation about a month ago
i went ahead and got my 04 AT coupe and no regrets, but i imagine if i had a 6mt i'd be ticked because of the 15hp increase. I have no complaints about our current interior and even though the 05 19'' rims are now forged (previously cast), imo they dont look as great as the 04's. I was also quoted 35,810 and the dealer wouldn't budge on the price. Even with the 05's coming out soon, demand for the current models is still very high.

If you love the car and dont mind the minor changes, then go for it. if you want an mt, waiting for the extra horsepower might be worth it. I bought my G after i heard there would be no exterior modifications (except wheels) and after taking a good look at the interior.

Re: Confused and worried

Kyosho,
Where did you see a photo of the new 19" wheels? I've read that they're forged on the dealer spec sheet that Grubbs Infiniti published on Fresh Alloy, but where did you see the photo of the 19's? I saw a 2005, blue coupe with 18's and a 2005 sedan with 18's, but haven't seen the 19's yet...

The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

Re: Confused and worried

Sorry, those are the pics i have seen also
since the sedan/coupe 18''s follow the same pattern i am only guessing the 19s will follow suit.
