steerling wheel lock

Was up guys..

This question isn't about my g35..it is actually about my other car a 2000 toyota solara...every time it rains here in southern cali...my steering wheel locks up on me while im driving..for about 5-10 secs...it gets really really hard to turn...i can't seem to figure out that the hell is wrong with it...can anybody help...anything please...

Sounds like something is wrong with the power steering. How is the power steering fluid?

well i thought of that...i checked it and it was fine..but this only happens when it rains...

it only happens when it rains....never after a wash or something like that...if it is the belt...what can i do..can i cover the belt with something?

makes sense b/c after a wash, water wouldnt get up under the car to get to the belt. but after a rain, it would. ive never experienced it before. do you have all your oem splash shields on?

you need a new accessory belt. Buy a Gates belt...

turns out the belt is getting wet..now i gotta figure out how to cover it..cuz changing it won't do anything.
