Yep! It was really lame, I was looking at it, and it wasnt PHYSICALLY possible to put the spare on the front! I was pissed!

Not to mention how slammed my car was, I didnt want to even try my rears on the front, and the spare on the back!

I know this is old, but you're dumb.

It doesn't turn off all the traction control.

I haven't driven with VDC since I got my car....

If you have the tires filled with nitrogen, the hot/cold pressures wouldn't vary as much.

Get yourself a tire pressure guage and check each tire when the light goes on. Refill any that are low and after driving for a few minutes the light should go off. When it goes on again, re-check each tire. If it's the same one that's low, you have a slow leak. Take it to a tire shop to fix or replace. Don't use foam filler to fix the tire, it will mess up you tpms unit.

I took my car to the dealer cause the front tires kept losing a little pressure (pound and a half to a pound) and they said no leaks, valves were fine etc. They reset the light but they said they put the tire pressure at 38. Is this too high? I have an 07 with 19's. On the door it says 35...

I put 40-43 psi in my tires. Check what the max is on the tire, its probably around 50. It all depends on how you want the car to feel. Obviously the higher the PSI the rougher its going to ride.

My light usually comes on after 30min of driving. Checked all the tires twice, all right around 35. The light still comes on after a while. I think my problem is a faulty sensor, but who knows.

Anyone know if the spare has a TPMS sensor?

my spare is at 40 and its supposed to be at 60.

Don't know for sure, but I doubt the spare has a sensor. TPMS sensors commonly go bad so thats probably all it is.

Spare isn't monitored. Says so in the owners manual.

Tire 101 never fill the tire to maximum pressure that is listed on the tire. Always go by what the manufacture calls for. If you over inflate you will wear the center of the tire. Then you come to see me and I will sell you a new set of tires at 20k miles. With the new tire pres monitoring system. It only takes on 2lbs in some to kick a light on. Cold weather will do it every time. Ck your tires in the winter months at least twice a month. And the guy that put 60psi in is lambo and got only 10k on them should have bought road hazard. LOL
