I never pumped it up but right now it looks and runs just fine? Could it be just an error on the light being on for no reason? I heard of people having problems with that light, even bringing it into the dealership.
You made no mention of how many lbs you put in your tires but the book calls for 35 PSI. If you drop below 29 LBS the TPS will show on your dash. There's a good chance you picked up a nail, this is something you shouldn't ignore! With our low profile tires it's impossible to spot which tire is low, they all look the same....
Take your G to the closest tire shop and have it checked out.

yea about 35-38 depending on how long you've driven
i wouldn't recommend anything above that, could cause a stiffer ride and slightly worse tire wear
that is if you're on stock wheels. and like someone else mentioned, you have to drive for a little bit for the TPS to do it's thing.

i just got my G like two weeks ago. the light came on when it was cold out and stayed on. i checked the pressure and it was like in it's 20's so i fill it up to about 35 and the light went away. but it came back on like a day later and has been on ever since. dunno what's going on
the guy who had the car before me ran it at 40-44 and the tires had very bad wear in the center of the tire tred.
i got new tires and the guy at the tire shop said to stick with 35, now no problems.
for 18in. and 19in. rims i would run 35
17in. i would run 32

I dont know where you live but if your wheels get have a dramatic change in temperature such as it getting cold after it was even normal fall temps the rims can shrink and loose a partial seal allowing air to leak out
