Plus they said no other place would do it unless is at the dealership or a private mechanic shop...is that so?
That's the biggest crock of crap I've ever heard.
They are idiots!

LOL, that's like saying your oil can't be changed because you drove for longer than 3000miles haha.

they may have said it wrong, but i bet they were trying to say its due for an oil change, but they can't get s apec on the fluid so take it to a dealer. They probs dont want to change due to some policy where they got screwed in the past, nissan tranny fluid is very specific, nothing else "feels" the same to be honest. I use amsoil fluid and it suffers in the cold compared to OEM fluid..just a thought.

to the op, NEVER use non-premium fuels, it will cost you more in the long run. also like everyone else said window motors go bad (I guess door locks too), you may have a pool of oil in your rearward spark plug gallies, and you may have a pre-04.5' transmission which is known to have shifting issues, oh and the compression rods. search those issues and you should know the basics by the end of it.

enjoy the ride, if money is tight, leave the mods alone and keep the good gas in there!

Thanks for the enlightenment. I guess I'm a bit old-school, and thought a manual transmission would just have some grease in it.

Firestone has been doing some corporate readjustment their way of doing business and guess this branch still has been "readjusted" yet. The corp is cracking down on some major dumba$$ firestone branch across the country that provides monkey service and i mean literally monkey service - lots of customer complaint and loss of business for firestone over the last couple of years - so just call their corporate headquarter and complaint away and probably get a coupon in the mail for a free service for your car or somethin like that...

always premium gas man. The DG color is so sick!

nice find on a 03 coupe. looks mint.

Problems - heavy **** coupe doors will crush your legs, some squeaky noises at times (cheap cabin ), bose headunit might fail internally causing you to replace the headunit (Just replaced it), the upper glove box cover peice will pop up (leather peice), etc.

little annoying things to deal with, but it cancels out once you start up the car.

The car sucks in the snow...royally. Get a wintersetup.

I haven't had any problems with my OB 6mt 05 coupe since I bought it this past May, except my headlight bulb went out, but thats an easy DIY fix.

Car sounds great, some road noise in the front when braking or turning, otherwise I love everything about the car.

The leatherseats tend to tear quickly if your fat, so lose some weight or treat them with leather conditioner and cleaner on a monthly basis to avoid tearing.

GL and never use anything less than premium!

Well im pretty big, so Im sure I'm contributing to the fatnessnessness.

I've knows ppl ~150 lbs. that tear the seat up. It's just wear, and you'd be lucky to find a used G with the seat in really good shape.

I think FireStone doesn't want to be liable gpt a tranny that hasn't had it's fluid changed in 85k and is probably about to go. And the G35 doesn't have the smoothest more reliable tranny out there.

So if and when a problem occurs, the owner might just blame it on firestone.
