My car is the first auto I've had in 40 years. Sometimes my back isn't happy and my left leg doesn't work very well, so I got the automatic. Still a great car. You won't have to replace the clutch, etc.

 

Might have to replace a whole tranny though!

That's one of the great things about manual trannies... they tend to last a lot longer than auto trannies if you know how to really drive a manual(rev matching, no hard clutch dumps, etc.).

 

If you got it at carmax you can return it for a full refund within 5 days. Other dealers maybe will charge you a restocking fee. Sometimes you shouldn't just jump into things bro. Good luck.

 

i love my 6mt...only thing i worry about is oil consumption and how the seats are uncomfortable to lay back and drive...

 

thanks for the many many many good advice. At 95xxx miles i stiill have my g20 which is stick. I love the g35 period and yes the tiptronic is amazing at night i just never really like at. but it really good while in trafic. ny and Va traffic is crzy during rush our. Being that im navy morning and after noon communte is hella crazy. And it wont matter once im under way so i think im just being a baby. Selling back this car is not summin i have in mine but the swap would be a later plan. I just dont want to start w the tuner bug and then be like all its missing is a 6mt. any one did a 6mt swap????????????????????

 

i guess a positive is that if you boost it, the boost won't drop like a 6mt if you dont change the gears fast enough
