Wicked ghetto!.. but if you're ever planning on doing a really long trip and you need to get every last mile out of a tank between stops, you could do this to make sure you get it all the way full. Just be real careful the first time you do it because you don't want to overfill it and spill gas everywhere.... it's bad for your paint, and if you ever get it on your plastic lenses for the taillights, they'll start to crack unless you wipe it off immediately.

Yeah, it was a recall and if you're car is still under warranty then there is no problem fixing it. They replaced and havent had any problems. Also, adjusting the way that you put the pump into your gas tank filler neck, i figured a method to where I guess it lets the vapors escape so adjust it a little and it might work. But dealership had no problem replacing it for me....plus I was lucky that the gas gauge floater broke at the same time because they fixed it for me for free also and I had their nice rental a little longer
