Projector cutoff problem?

see above my left projector how the right cutoff starts to head upwards as it moves left? Is this normal, or does my right projector need to be adjusted?

Mine are like that too. I think we got the recalled headlights. I dunno if there's a way to fix it or not. If there is I wanna know myself because mine are color-nodded and it's annoying seeing one side slightly slanted upwards.

last time i was at the dealership i asked if the headlights were replaced per the recall and he said they were (i bought the car used from a private seller). i just wonder if when they installed the new headlights if they took the time to make sure they were properly aligned.

couldn't find the thread but heres a written HARDER to understand version of it

Measure and place your headlight 10 meters (393.7")from a screen marked with two lines, one 8.6 cm (3.39")and another 11.3 cm (4.45")below another mark that is the same as the measured center height of your low beam bulb. I just measured and marked a cardboard box and set it on the road.

The light pattern has two distinct horizontal cut-offs, the lower one being to the left. Align the lower cut-off to shine between your two marks, and you're done.

provided by gordgee thanks

like to raise them up? im pretty sure that would require taking apart the haeadlight and baking it open and manually raising it.
dont quote me though.

but hey, if u really want to fix it u might as well call it a project and paint the inside housing, it'll look a lot better.

Yeah something looks off. My 06 cutoff lines looks a lot cleaner than that. And yes, My headlights were replaced under the recall.

I had a member on here color-mod my headlight to get a sharper cut off line. But My headlight are like yours. I can adjust it up and down but don't know how to rotate it.

Honestly, from your pic. That's what my headlights looked like b4 the recall.

I'll take some pics to verify. Don't go yelling at the dealer yet.

not neccessary, they should be adjustable using a 10mm(i think) or phillips sd, tighten the lower hl adjuster unitl they are even..ive had to do this a few times, since i sell headlights quite often
