Hello,for xmas I bought my self a set of mint evo 9 black leather and suede recaro seats,to replace the heavy and not really comfortable stock coupe seats.




Now I must find seat bases,I was thinking of wedge engineering but I would like to know what other forum members have done,I know that recaro makes a 350z base but how much different is a 350z seat base from ours,I dont mind cutting and rewelding 1 tab ,but any more and that becomes too much like custom fab and I ate too much at xmas so i am lazy.

I plan on deleting the rear seat ,that is where my amps will go and building custom panels to cover the rear area and bottom( I own a custom car audio shop,so no issue there)and plan on finding some of the silverish mesh fabric to redo the door and rear side panel vinyl inlays.

 

Wow, nice find. Recaro seats are soo nice and those look GREAT! Did you try to Google Recaro, being quality seats there should be several vendors making bases for them or Recaro themselves.
