Does it worth to trade?

I have been looking at cars online and i came across with another G and was thinking if it worth trading and wanted to get some suggestions from you guys.

okay i have 05 DG coupe 6mt no navi with 90000kms on the car but i have a new engine and it has about 5000kms.

The other G is 07 IP auto transmission with navigation and has 14000kms on the car.
i have always like the IPs and i have been driving manual for many years and i have been thinking of going to auto transmission for the comfort of it.

i have some mods as you can see on my signature and i think other car is stock.
they ask 28000$ Canadian dollars for the 07 G, I was thinking maybe i would pay 5 to 6 k for the difference?
let me know what you guys think please.

You're dreaming if you think a dealership is going to give you 22k for your car as a trade in. If you're selling privately, you should already know what you have it listed as and what the difference would be.

Then my second sentence still stands. If you're going to sell it privately, you will already know what you expect to get out of it, so your question on how much in the hole you'll be is already answered. I didn't comment on what-price-is-higher-where on a private sale, so perhaps you misread my post. There isn't any need for you to get pissy on a reply to a question you already answered yourself. As far as your original question; if you enjoy your G35, and can pay 5-6k for a two year old newer vehicle with significantly less mileage, and it's in the color you want.. well.. that all sounds good to me.

i did the same thing actually.. except i went from a black 06 coupe without navi and lots of maintenance issues (bad window regulator, cracked bumper, need new tires and shocks, and has been in an accident plus it had 67k miles to a blue 07 coupe with 33k miles w navi, xm radio, no accident, no repaint. sold the 06 for $2k more than i bought it for, and bought the 07 for $5k more than what i paid for the 06...

so definitely changing from a 3 year old with 67k miles to a 2 year old with 33k miles with no issues is a plus for me, and unfortunately, now that i think about it, i shoulda gone with a Pontiac G8 but w/e.. i still like my g35 (minding the lack of rear seat and trunk space)

She's beast foo, and it is one of those "You had to be there" jokes from a thread in the Lounge a while back.

Still makes me laugh to this day.
