Window problems

Ok so I just picked up a 2004 G35 in Dallas TX and made the trip all the way home to MN. Before I bought it I knew of a few problems I would have to tackle, but the car was a steal and I figured it would be relatively easy with all the DIY stuff on here. Anyways, today I attempted to clean the drivers side window motor. I took everything out and accessed the motor but it was pretty clean on the inside. I went at it with some rubbing alcohol anyways and put it all back together and it didnt do anything. Both the passenger and driver side windows are barely working but now i cant get them to even try. when i hook everything up and press the passenger window button (from the drivers side controls) I hear a clicking on the passenger side, but no movement whatsoever. When i press the button for the drivers side I get absolutely nothing.

It looks as though I am going to need to purchase a couple motors. My question however is are there any other potential causes of this problem besides the motor? faulty switch? BCU? etc.? Neither window works with any button and they dont go up or down at all when opening and closing the door.

Also, if i replace the motor, what are the odds that the new one will go bad again? The car only has 40k miles on it...seems RIDICULOUS that the motor would go bad this fast in the first place...

update: I went back out there and knocked on the metal motor casing with a wrench and it works, though still very very weak...this must be pretty characteristic of a bad motor?
